A beautiful smile means healthy teeth

According to various studies conducted over the years, it has been found that a perfect smile forms an important part of the wish list of many pursuing to improve their personality. The reason behind this trend is obvious. The fact that smile denotes a positive emotion is enough to state its significance. Not only it is a conversation starter but it also has a pleasing effect on others. It enhances the beauty and helps people come closer. The most pleasing of smiles happens to be a combination of many factors like jaw structure, teeth positioning, teeth colour, colour of lips and more. Not everyone is born with the perfect body structure. This is true for the facial features as well. Every day we hear someone going for a nose job or a lip augmentation to improve their facial appearance.

However, when it comes to teeth, a majority of us chose to ignore their imperfections. It is when a tooth starts creating trouble then we wake up and rush to a dentist. The fact that even today people are vociferously advised to brush teeth twice is evident enough how callous the approach is when it comes to maintaining oral hygiene. By opting to visit a dentist to correct imperfections like chipped tooth, gaps between teeth, their alignment, teeth colour etc, one is only taking a step to leave the dental problems behind. To correct the misaligned teeth, depending on the various classes (in turn dependent on severity), patients are asked to undergo surgery or simply wear braces or aligners to fix them to their ideal positions. These all form a part of smile designing. It is a comprehensive process during which a patient will be examined so as to ascertain what type of smile will be suited depending on the facial structure.

As a necessary precaution a tooth positioner is used to prevent the teeth from moving back to their old spot. This is known as relapsing and it can nullify all the hard work that has been done by the dentist, the orthodontic device and the patient into pushing the teeth to their new positions.

Clearpath specialises in providing high quality orthodontic appliances like 3d CAD/CAM aligners which help in straightening teeth. These are non-intrusive i.e. unlike dental braces that affect the life of an individual in different ways, they work quietly without even letting anyone become aware of their presence.
