ClearPath successfully conducted its first ever certification course in Malaysia organized by the MDA (Malaysian Dental Association) as a post-convention workshop on the evening of Sunday 27th May 2012. It preceded its product launch in Malaysia and was the 2nd largest attended workshop among all workshops in the convention. The course was attended by more than 25 practitioners from Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Nigeria and Italy. Aimed at educating and training the practitioners on usage of latest CAD/CAM aligner technologies in the field of Orthodontics and also included various features of proprietary ClearPath system.
The participants were given comprehensive training on various aspects and processes involved in this technology like biomechanics & classification of aligners, case selection, case submission, ClearPath system, digital diagnostic setup, products & pricing, clinical cases and special impression technique such that they can start a ClearPath case the very next day after training. The course also included an additional Q&A session on how ClearPath’s revolutionary technology eliminates the use of attachments in most cases and how the CAD/CAM systems have evolved over the primitive manual setup aligner systems currently practiced in some parts of Malaysia.
ClearPath has introduced new & improved quality aligner which provides a hygienic, convenient and a clear solution for the correction of malocclusion without having to wear brackets and wires. The technology innovation of ClearPath’s CAD/CAM clear aligners not only gives the benefits of comfort, esthetics and hygiene to the patient but also offers control and predictability to the doctors in the course of treatment.
The workshop was conducted by very renowned Dr Khaled Abouseada from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia who has experience of many hundred cases practiced with the ClearPath system. Clinical case discussion included cases of all varieties including cases with elastics, microimplants etc.
ClearPath has also introduced new features to improve the service & convenience levels mentioned as follows: 1. Doorstep pickup of impressions & payments through its global tie-up with major courier companies
2. Free case review: a new pre-treatment service wherein the orthodontists can get their case reviewed for free by mailing the intraoral photographs & x-rays to freecasereview@clearpathdental.com
